Nathan rolls into Albuquerque for the 2009 New Mexico Music Awards

Nathan wins award at nmma's for "best musical production for a rock-mainstream song" with his song "tight grip", which he wrote, produced, engineered, mixed, and played on. Other musicians include Gregg thum playing drums and Leif Krosby on vocals. Nathan was also a nominee for the "best engineer" category.
"I had a great time at the awards. I brought my wife and 2 daughters and we met some really talented, interesting people. I was blown away by the range of talent we have in N.M., I had no idea. I wanted to do a song to enter into the awards to see what would happen, and that's how "tight grip" came into being. I feel blessed to have won, as the other songs in my category were all very well done. Hopefully this will help lead me in some positive new directions."
